What Mists of Pandaria gold is for
Mists of Pandaria Classic is the version where professions pay for themselves and cost a fortune to start. Daily cooldowns on cloth and metal, the materials for them, the reputation grinds that gate the recipes: all of it runs on gold, and all of it is faster to buy than to farm.
Raiding adds the rest. Flasks and food for a full night, enchants and gems on every slot, repairs, and the odd piece off the auction house when a drop refuses to appear. Gold here inflates the way retail gold does, which is why sellers price it by the ten thousand rather than by the coin.
Why players buy it
The Pandaria economy rewards the players who treat it as a second job, and punishes everybody else. Dailies, farming Halfhill, working profession cooldowns every single day: it works, it is well documented, and it is a routine most people quit after a fortnight.
Buying covers the gap between what the game expects you to have and what you get from playing it the way you want to. On these realms that gap is widest at the start of a tier, when everyone needs the same consumables at once and the auction house notices.

- Buy on the seller's site. The button hands you over with your realm, faction and offer already selected. Payment, delivery and support all happen there, under the seller's terms, not ours.

How the gold reaches you
Gold changes hands inside the game, never through this site. Sellers use four routes, and which one you get depends on the seller and the size of the order.
In-game mail
The default. You give a character name and realm, the seller mails the gold, and it is waiting in your mailbox. Nothing to arrange, nothing to schedule, and it works while you are offline.
Face-to-face trade
You meet the seller's character in a capital city and trade directly. Usually offered for larger orders. It is the fastest route once you are both online, and the one where you should be standing in a safe place.
Auction house
The seller posts an item you buy for the agreed sum, which moves the gold with an auction-house cut taken out. Slower and more expensive, used when the other routes are awkward.
Guild bank
Rare, and only between characters in the same guild. Some sellers offer it for very large transfers.
Delivery windows on this board are the seller's own commitment, counted from the moment your payment clears on their site. We do not add to them and we do not average them.
What sets the price
MoP Classic sits between the two worlds. The economy has inflated enough that gold is quoted by the ten thousand like retail, but the population is a fraction of retail's and the farming is slower, so the price per thousand is many times higher.
There is a quirk on these realms worth knowing before you compare anything. Sellers list two kinds of offer: a small-order tier with a low minimum and a higher unit price, and a bulk tier with a large minimum and a much better rate. Both appear on the realm page. If you only glance at the first number you will conclude the realm is expensive when the bulk row next to it says otherwise.
The per-1,000 column on every table exists for exactly this. It puts the small tier, the bulk tier and every rival marketplace on one scale.

A seller's star rating appears only when it comes from verified orders. Where we cannot verify it, we leave it off rather than print a number nobody earned.

Questions people ask
Is it safe to buy MoP Classic gold?
No seller can make it risk-free. Blizzard's terms prohibit trading gold for real money, and accounts caught doing it can be actioned.

Why are there two prices for the same realm?
Because sellers list a small-order tier and a bulk tier, and the bulk tier is the better rate per thousand.

Does faction matter?

Why is it priced per ten thousand and not per coin?
Because the Pandaria economy has inflated enough that a single coin is too small a unit to quote.
Classic Era and Anniversary gold are quoted per coin for the opposite reason.
Can I move this gold to another version?
No. Each version of the game has its own economy, and gold does not cross between them or between regions.
