What The Burning Crusade gold is for
On the Anniversary realms gold is not pocket money, it is progression. Riding skill, then the faster one, then the expensive flying that opens up the outdoor content. Between those, every raid night costs a stack of consumables that has to be bought or farmed: flasks, elixirs, potions, food, and the enchants and gems that make a piece of gear worth wearing.
The Burning Crusade sharpens all of this. Attunements send you through dungeons you need consumables for, reputation grinds want materials, and respeccing to raid and back again charges you every time. This is the version where being short of gold genuinely keeps you out of content.
Why players buy it
Classic gold is slow by design. The game was built when a night of farming was the content, and the modern player has the same twenty hours a week to spend but wants to spend them raiding. Buying gold on these realms is usually not about being rich, it is about not spending Saturday on herbs before a Sunday raid.
Prices here are quoted per single coin, not per ten thousand, and that tells you the whole story about scarcity. A coin in The Burning Crusade is worth a great deal more than a coin in the retail game, and the gap is not small: it is roughly two orders of magnitude.
Choose your realm
Grouped by the language the realm is played in, biggest group first. Language is printed only where a source states it; realms with English names carry German, French and Spanish communities too. The tag on a realm is its type: PvE, PvP or RP.

- Compare the offers. Each row carries the seller's own price in euros, the smallest order they accept, the stock they report and the delivery window they promise. Nothing in that row is our estimate.
- Buy on the seller's site. The button hands you over with your realm, faction and offer already selected. Payment, delivery and support all happen there, under the seller's terms, not ours.

How the gold reaches you
Gold changes hands inside the game, never through this site. Sellers use four routes, and which one you get depends on the seller and the size of the order.
In-game mail
The default. You give a character name and realm, the seller mails the gold, and it is waiting in your mailbox. Nothing to arrange, nothing to schedule, and it works while you are offline.
Face-to-face trade
You meet the seller's character in a capital city and trade directly. Usually offered for larger orders. It is the fastest route once you are both online, and the one where you should be standing in a safe place.
Auction house
The seller posts an item you buy for the agreed sum, which moves the gold with an auction-house cut taken out. Slower and more expensive, used when the other routes are awkward.
Guild bank
Rare, and only between characters in the same guild. Some sellers offer it for very large transfers.
Delivery windows on this board are the seller's own commitment, counted from the moment your payment clears on their site. We do not add to them and we do not average them.
What sets the price
Anniversary gold is expensive per coin because the supply is genuinely limited. Nobody can print it, the farming routes are the same ones that existed twenty years ago, and the population on these realms is concentrated on a handful of servers rather than spread over hundreds.
That concentration is why the realm you play on matters more here than in retail. There are only a few Anniversary realms in Europe, and the price on each of them is set separately by whoever farms there.
One caution when you compare prices across sites: not every realm filed under this heading is an Anniversary realm. Hardcore realms sit in the same category on several marketplaces, and gold there costs several times more because a death ends the character and the farming economy behind it. Check the realm name, not just the category.

A seller's star rating appears only when it comes from verified orders. Where we cannot verify it, we leave it off rather than print a number nobody earned.

Questions people ask
Is it safe to buy Anniversary gold?
No seller can make it risk-free. Blizzard's terms prohibit trading gold for real money, and accounts caught doing it can be actioned.
On small Classic realms the sensible precautions matter more than on retail: ordinary amounts, delivery by mail or a normal-looking trade, and never any account details.
Why is Classic gold so much more expensive than retail gold?
Because it is scarce. Nobody can print it, the farming routes are the twenty-year-old ones, and the population sits on a handful of realms.
That is also why it is priced per single coin here while retail is priced per ten thousand. Use the per-1,000 column to compare the two.
How fast does it arrive?
Usually within minutes, and the window is written on each offer.
Classic deliveries are more often done as a face-to-face trade than on retail, so being online helps.
Does faction matter?
Yes. Gold cannot cross between Horde and Alliance inside the game, so each side is listed and bought separately.
Is Soulseeker the same kind of realm as Thunderstrike?
We do not know, and we will not guess. Blizzard has not published realm types for the European Anniversary realms, so we print no type for any of the three.
What the prices show is that Soulseeker does not behave like the other two: gold on it costs far more than on Thunderstrike or Spineshatter, the way gold does on a realm that is younger, smaller or harder to farm on. All three sit under the same Classic heading, so the numbers look inconsistent until you notice which realm you are reading. Check the realm you actually play before you compare two figures on this page.
What do people spend it on?
Riding skill first, then consumables for raid nights: flasks, elixirs, potions and food, plus enchants, gems and respec costs.
In The Burning Crusade the flying skill is the single largest sink most players will meet.
Can I use Anniversary gold on a retail character?
No. Every version of the game has its own separate economy, and gold cannot be moved between them.
The same is true between the European and American regions.
What do I give the seller?
A character name, the realm and the faction, and nothing else.
